Unpaid bills print a UPI QR code with the amount. Remind credit customers on WhatsApp with the QR code attached.

This is a beta from our website, not yet the Play Store version. When the app arrives on the Play Store, uninstall this one first, then install it from the Play Store. Your bills and stock are safe: they are kept in your Khatavahi Business account, not on the phone.
Pro-rata replacement, worked out for you
Set the free warranty and the pro-rata period once for each battery model. When a battery fails after the free warranty, the app works out what the customer pays: months used ÷ total warranty months of the new battery's price. You can still change it, and the new battery gets a fresh warranty.
Free replacements keep only what was left of the old battery's warranty, so nobody gets a second full warranty for free.

Questions from battery shops
Which batteries does it work for?
Any battery with a serial number and a warranty: car, two-wheeler, inverter, UPS, e-rickshaw and truck batteries, of any brand. You set the free warranty and pro-rata period once for each model.
How is the pro-rata price worked out?
The customer pays months used ÷ total warranty months of the new battery's price; part of a month counts as a month. For example, 24 months free + 24 months pro-rata, failed in month 30, new battery ₹4,800: the customer pays 30 ÷ 48 × ₹4,800 = ₹3,000. You can change the price on each claim, and the new battery gets a fresh warranty.
How does the old battery exchange work?
Type the old battery's weight; the value comes from your scrap rate per kg, or type a fixed amount. It is taken off what the customer pays, while the bill and its GST stay on the full price. The scrap comes into your stock, and you sell it to the recycler on a normal bill.
Can a customer find their bill if they lost it?
Yes. Search by the battery's serial number or the vehicle number, and the bill, the date and the warranty status come up. You can send the bill to their WhatsApp again.
Do I need a computer or a server?
No. We host Khatavahi Business for you on our servers and keep it up to date. Your shop uses it on Android phones; you only need mobile data or Wi-Fi.
Is my data safe?
Your bills, stock and customers are kept on our servers, not on the phone, so a lost phone doesn't lose your data. Each person in your shop gets their own login, and the app locks with a PIN or fingerprint.
Which phones and printers does it work with?
Android phones. It prints to normal (A4) printers and to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi thermal receipt printers. Bills go to WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.
Does it work without internet?
No. The app saves directly to your account on our servers, so it needs mobile data or Wi-Fi.
Which languages does it support?
The app is in English. The lessons inside the app and the WhatsApp messages to customers are also in Gujarati and Hindi, with the English names of the buttons.
Will my staff need training?
Very little. The app has short lessons built in, with a Battery shop chapter: setting up your batteries, old battery exchange, checking a warranty, claims and reminders. Each lesson names the exact buttons to tap and opens the real screen to try it, in English, Gujarati or Hindi.
How much does it cost?
